Advance tickets urged for Homes Tour
EASTON One of the most well-paid fundraisers of the Festival of Trees is the annual Homes Excursion. This year, on Saturday, Nov. 26, and Sunday, Nov. 27, five solitary and beautifully decorated homes will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The following homes will be featured:
La Trappe Runnel Farm, Margits Lane, Trappe
Nestled on the shores of La Trappe Runnel, this Georgian-style Colonial home on 20 acres was unreservedly transformed in 2008. Features of this home include a two-thriller library, a "River Room" and a casual media dwelling, as well as a gourmet kitchen, a Jeffersonian octagonal dining chamber and an indoor pool suggesting a Roman spa. All are complemented by one-of-a-understanding Victorian furnishings and antiques from the 1700s.
