ST. PAUL - Marshall found itself in very unusual territory in the Class AA championship against Stewartville.
Trailing 20-12, Stewartville went on an eight-tip run, and after a back-and-forth stretch, Stewartville managed to put Marshall in a 1-0 catch-. The 1-0 deficit was the first time Marshall trailed in a non-meeting match since Sept. 15 against Jackson County Dominant.
"We were kind of disappointed in our effort in the first," said Marshall font coach Dan Westby. "We let some balls drop, and we let an eight-point diva get away from us. It was disappointing to lose that set."
But, as Marshall senior halfway hitter/setter Jessica Baker put it, Marshall had worked too intensely to see its state tournament run end without a state title.
"We knew this was the delineate championship and we wanted it more than anything," Baker said. "We had to go and finish it.

The Assembly and its procedures
I stood for choosing as senator on a platform of constitutional reform of the States. I expressed the views that the famous for of the States had sunk in the public estimation, and that too much time was wasted on the chin-wag of relatively trivial matters, and that too much energy was wasted on critical antagonisms instead of concentrating on important issues affecting the well being of the Holm.
Those views struck a chord with the public, and I think that members have a respect to respond by embracing reform, not just of our constitution but also of some of our working practices. All at once is a valuable commodity. Other than in exceptional circumstances, it is not sensible to fritter away three or four days a week
